At the moment just like the rest of world, I have been obsessed with Vietnamese Food! So you can imagine how excited I was travelling there and trying it from the source! So the one main meal that stood out for me (everything was already amazing but this was memorable) was a Vietnamese Pork Salad I triedat the cutest hidden restaurant “L’usine” and I would say its A MUST GO place when you are travelling to Ho Chi Minh City. It located on 70 Lê Lợi, Bến Thành, its a bit tricky to find, you will find an art gallery when you get there with stalls of different art stores, then the signs will guide you up some stairs and voila your there.
Getting back to the food, it was amazing raw organic flavors is what truly stuck out for me, I have Vietnamese food in Australia all the time and now I just noticed how much sugar they put in their sauces! I felt so much healthier eating my salad which was simply dressed in vinegar and fish sauce, no tricks or 10 tablespoons of sugar, so simple but so perfect! I would really recommend you check them out, its was so hipster I was amazed! the design of the place and the linked clothing store (which I truthfully have to say I thought was overpriced.. but very good quality clothes) is just a very well presented and the food will match your impression of the place:)
